See what a call leaves behind

The card beside this is what one debtor call writes: an outcome, a date, and the reason it was allowed to ring at all. Every field is a check further down.

Hear it make one: the agent rings you, in your browser, about a sample overdue invoice. You play the customer who owes it.

What has to be true before a debtor gets a call

  1. 1Says it is an AI and that the call is recorded, before anything else
  2. 2Rings only debtors of the clients you switched on, never the whole book by default
  3. 3Checks the Do Not Call Register and calling hours in the debtor's own state before dialling
  4. 4Ranked by amount at risk, with a broken promise ahead of everything else, not by age
  5. 5One debtor is one conversation, however many invoices they owe across the client
  6. 6Reads the ledger again just before the call: an invoice already paid is never chased
  7. 7Leaves with a date, recorded against the invoice in Xero, not left in a transcript
  8. 8A dispute, a hardship story or a payment plan goes to a person from that sentence on

Ask any vendor which of the eight their agent does.

The rules an Australian call has to follow

  • Every call opens with “this is an AI, and the call is recorded” before anything else.
  • Every number is checked against the Do Not Call Register, and calls stay inside calling hours in the debtor's own state.
  • Recording is handled to the strictest state: Victoria, Tasmania and the ACT need every party's consent.
  • Calls go only to your clients' own customers about their own invoices, never to a bought list.

How we build, not legal advice. The long version is in the compliance paper.

Count it on one client first

  1. 1. Open the aged receivables for your slowest-paying client.
  2. 2. Count the invoices past 45 days with no promised payment date beside them.
  3. 3. Ask who in the practice was meant to ring them, and when they last did.

The method behind every call, the ranking and the stops, is the Debtor Chasing standard. For the practice-side view, read A ledger per client, and nowhere that holds the work. Staff asking to put an AI agent on Xero? Read Should you give Grok Bot your Xero login?

Technical? The build standard is open. Take it.
