What it costs

Most of this you should build yourself and never pay anyone for. We publish how, for nothing. You pay us monthly for one thing: the part that has to run on a live phone line, and the proof that it did.

The inserts

The steps you should not run yourself. Flat monthly, no call caps, no per-minute overage, cancel when you like.

Booked After Hours

from $119

per month

The phone answered out of hours on your own number, with the job written into your system during the call. Disclosure and recording notice first, every call sorted into emergency, routine or quote, one job and not two, and the on-call phone woken only for an actual emergency, once per job, with the job already written. The same account carries quote drafting for the Quote Out standard: an agent calls draft_quote on the Office Voice MCP, and a draft priced from your own price list lands in Xero for a person to review and send, once Xero is connected with quote drafting on. Nothing drafts a quote from the call itself.

Runs on: Office Voice, as Front Desk. For trades and field service on ServiceM8 or Simpro.

What moves it: Sold as Front Desk on Office Voice, which runs the live call for this standard (number, disclosure, recording, the service area, ServiceM8 or Simpro write-back). 30-day free trial. $29 to set up your number, which comes off your first bill.

Get Paid

from $199

per month

Overdue invoices chased on a real phone call against your live Xero ledger. Balance read out, payment link sent mid-call, promise-to-pay recorded as a date rather than a sentence in a transcript, disputes captured and escalated. Open quotes followed up the same way, read from Xero, ServiceM8 or Simpro.

Runs on: Office Voice, as Recover. For businesses on Xero, and practices running many client books.

What moves it: One insert covers both: overdue invoices and open quotes. A higher tier (Recover Pro, $399) adds cadence control, briefing and holds, webhooks and more volume. Practices running a client book get wholesale rates that scale with the book. 30-day free trial. $29 to set up your number, which comes off your first bill.

Work the List

from $200

per agent, per month, normally $290

The database you already own, worked by voice, SMS and WhatsApp, with live Australian property data in the call opening. Spoken intent captured, leads ranked, nothing invented about a property.

Runs on: workmylist. For property and real estate offices working contacts they already own.

What moves it: The $200 is the founder rate. A higher tier (Premium, from $490, standard from $690) covers the phone-number features: bring your own number or port it, inbound answering, branded sender ID. Starter works up to 500 active contacts. 7-day free trial, no card. Ex GST.

Why these and not the rest

An AI agent can write your board, your queues and your reporting. It cannot hold an Australian phone number, be the named party on a Do Not Call check, capture consent properly, write one job into your system instead of two, or keep a log that still means something two years later. Those are the inserts. Everything else on this page is free because you can do it without us.

There is no management fee and no maintenance retainer. We are paid for something continuing to run, never for standing next to something you own.

The rules under every call

How we build, not legal advice. The long version is the compliance paper.

  • Says it is an AI, first

Every call opens with the AI identification and the recording notice before anything else is said.

  • Do Not Call Register

Every outbound number is washed against the register before a call. If the register cannot be checked, the call is not made.

  • Calling hours, by state

Outbound calls land inside the permitted hours in the customer's own state, public holidays included.

  • Consent to the strictest state

Victoria, Tasmania and the ACT need every party to consent to recording. We cannot know where a caller is, so that is the standard on every call.

  • A record on every call

Recording, transcript and what was written into your system, kept under a proof id you can pull up when a customer disputes it.

Jobs with an end

Bought when you need them, finished when they are done. No subscription and no retainer attached to any of these.

What service work covers

Every job below has a free standard you can build yourself. Service work is for the point where yours has to survive the business:

Get the enquiry in
We step in when after-hours, emergencies, and the job board have to work together.
Get the quote out
We step in when price lists, variations, and ServiceM8 / Simpro have to agree.
Get paid
We step in for credit policy, remittance allocation, and practices running many client books.
Work the rent roll
We step in when the roll is a mess, the office is a group, or arrears and maintenance have to play by different rules.
Stop rejected paperwork
We step in when a rejected pack costs a claim, a licence, or a contractor payment.

The questions a price raises

Are there call caps or per-minute charges?

No. Every insert is a flat monthly plan with no included-minute allowance to blow through and no overage rate, because there is no per-call or per-minute metering in the billing at all. That is a design decision, not an introductory offer. Most of this market advertises a monthly price over an allowance and then bills $0.40 to $0.90 a minute past it, which means the bill is highest in the week you most needed it to work. If your volume outgrows a tier you move tier, agreed in advance, rather than finding out on an invoice.

Why is the workflow free and only the insert paid?

Because you can build the workflow. An AI coding agent will stand up the board, the queues and the reporting in an afternoon, and charging you for that would be charging for something you can already get. What an agent cannot do is hold an Australian phone number, be the named party on a Do Not Call check, capture consent properly, write one job into your system instead of two, and keep a log somebody can read two years later. That is the insert, and it is the only thing on this page you pay for monthly.

Do we have to keep paying you to keep what we built?

No. The workflow is yours, it lives in your own systems, and it keeps working if you never speak to us again. We do not hold it hostage and we do not charge a management fee to stand next to it. The only thing that stops if you stop paying is the live insert: the number, the consent handling and the write-back service. That is a thing we run, not a thing we built and walked away from.

What if we get stuck building it?

Send us the pass test that will not go green and we will quote a fixed price to finish that piece. Plenty of people never need it, which is fine. We would rather you got it working alone than pay us out of confusion.

When is something service work rather than an insert?

An insert is a thing we run for you every month: a live number, consent handling, write-back, a log. Service work is a job with an end, like covering the phones after hours or building something that does not exist as a module yet. It is quoted time and materials before anyone starts, it finishes, and no ongoing fee attaches to it. If a piece of service work turns out to be something a lot of people need, it becomes an insert and gets a monthly price like the others.

Is the audit refundable if we do not go ahead?

It is not refunded, it is credited against any work that follows. You keep the written plan either way, and it is specific enough to hand to somebody else or to an AI coding agent. If we cannot write into the system you already run, we say so in the audit and quote a custom build instead.

What is not included?

On an insert, telephony and model usage are billed by the providers at their rates rather than marked up by us. Your accounting, job-management and productivity subscriptions stay yours either way. We do not charge for the standards, the stubs, the diagnosis, or the plan the audit produces. Service work is the one exception: it is time and materials, and materials and third-party costs there carry a 15% loading.

Are you just an AI receptionist?

No. Reception is one workflow. We publish standards and implement the set: first response, quoting, getting paid, working the list you own, and the paperwork that fails after the job. Voice is how some of those jobs get done.

When do we hire you?

When the record has to survive more than one system and a connector session cannot prove the write, the trigger or the exception; when the exceptions are the job; or when a pass test will not go green. We quote a fixed price against the step that is broken. We do not sell a monthly fee to stand next to a build you own. Start with the diagnosis or the $500 audit.

Will AI talk to our customers without saying so?

No. Where we put voice on a phone, it identifies as an AI assistant and follows Australian calling rules. If a conversation goes off-script, it hands to a person with the transcript attached.

Do we have to replace ServiceM8 / Xero / our CRM?

No. If we cannot write into the system you already run, we say so in the audit and quote a custom build instead.

Start with the free half

Take a standard, hand it to your AI coding agent, and build against the stub. Point the number at us only when you want the live one behind it.
